Thank you, Edivaldo, and all the authors who contributed to this book, for this important publication. Congratulations on the publication of this E-book!

Thank you for inviting me to write the Foreword in 2019. It was an honor for me to write it. It was such a pleasant surprise yesterday, when the publication was announced on Facebook.  I will post the publication on our SignWriting Site soon, and will announce it when I do.

It is with great satisfaction that we share the book “SignWriting in Brazil and its interfaces” in E-book format with to the Publisher of the Federal University of Rondônia (UNIR), organized by teachers MSc. Leoni Ramos Souza Nascimento from the Federal University of Rondônia (UNIR) and Dr. Edivaldo da Silva Costa from the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS) and prefaced by the creator of the SUTTON-SignWriting system, the californian choreographer, Valerie Sutton from the Deaf Action Commitee (DAC).
