Let's get out of this discussion.

I believe that there are some legal reasons that we should not discuss these issues in this forum or via any electronic medium. There's too much potential for litigation, and we could all be opening ourselves up to potential for lawsuits. That's the last thing I need to add to my overly-crowded plate, and I'm sure you're in the same position.

You know folks.  I am beginning to think we have the title wrong.  We need a people-person with technology skills and if we played our cards right and worked with a few technical vender folks, we could probably do a lot better.  Jack Lundy

The idea of a lousy technologist blacklist may have some merit.

Yikes, I finally read the whole thing through and get why this is so upsetting.

Gail,

You have my commiseration on this. I am now on Technologist #3 in 9 months. At least this time our technologist seems to be a good one. Funny thing is that we passed him by twice and hired two qualified but ultimately inappropriate people beforehand. If you email me directly, I’ll give you their names so you don’t make the same mistake we did!
