The Dept of Education has provided the following update to the information about the upcoming workshops. I do not have any additional information, just what I am forwarding from them, below:

Institutional Development and Undergraduate Education Service (IDUES) will conduct pre-application technical assistance workshops to assist potential applicants with preparing applications for fiscal year (FY) 2008 funding.  

These workshops are scheduled for one full day each, beginning with registration at 8:00 am and ending approximately 5:00 pm.  

The workshops will address the application process for the: Strengthening Institution Program (SIP) 
Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCCU)
Alaska Native Hawaiian-Serving Institutions (ANNH)
College Cost and Reduction Act - Hispanic Serving Institutions (CCRAA - HSI)
Minority Science and Engineering Improvement Program (MSEIP) Predominantly Black Institutions (PBI)
Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU)
Historically Black Graduate Institutions (HBGI)
Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions (AANAPISI) 
Program and Native American-Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) Program.  

Participants are expected to make their own hotel reservations at their own expense.  There is no fee for attending these workshops.  The workshops will be held as follows:
