Checking the Deit Libras, they move forward together like jumping rope and that's not what the Brincar(4) has.Charles

I will add yours to the sign puddle. Also look at Brincar(4). The hands move in bicycle wheel, I know, but whoever wrote this sign misinterpreted the circles so one goes back, one goes forward (not easily possible to do as your brain has to work in opposite directions. I tried to fix the signing, but the editorial connection for me doesn't seem to work (AGAIN). I can get into the signs to add sign spelling or words, but not to correct the signs now.Charles

Ok. Well, as it is written, I would break my arm trying to rotate it around clockwise. :-) Now that you mentioned it being like the ASL sign for "when", I wonder if the movement is really a wrist circle. I could see this sign being "pregnancy", sort of like showing the "bump" on the classifier of a woman. Maybe this is a more clear writing.AdamOn Jun 12, 2011, at 7:36 AM, Charles Butler wrote:yes, it looks similar to me to the ASL "when"

Is this the writing you were talking about?AdamOn Jun 12, 2011, at 6:14 AM, Charles Butler wrote:I am trying to understand this sign and something seems to be missing. This is from the LIBRAS sign puddle for "gravidez" (pregnancy) but I can't figure out exactly what the hands are doing. If it is a right hand touching the chest, and then rotating to a second position, then I could understand the movement. As it is written, it looks as if the right hand is touching the left hand index finger upright and then rotating around in space (half circle) and then touching the lower part of the left hand.Is this correct? It's not in the published Deit-Libras I have so it's a new sign being added to the system.
