My understanding is that the EPS version was going to be used for creating a font, but it was later found that the SVG version would actually be easier to use. Both versions are in the same main folder of ISWA2010 in the link that was provided. They have not been announced because they are still being checked for minor errors (like me forgetting to uploaded them, or naming them wrong, etc.) Doing all these symbols in all of these versions has been a little work for me. ;-) It will be exciting when the hand symbols have been completed because then the other symbols will also get worked on to complete the set.

This is a great set of resources.

Has anyone used the EPS versions of the symbols to create a font?

Weren't there SVG versions around too? Or did they get removed?

Hi List,

Adam Frost just finished the real life photos for all hand shapes. Congratulations and thank you.

You can find his originals in PSD format online:

I reformatted his photos in PNG format and added them to the ISWA Font Reference as reserved font name "ISWA 2010 Hand Photo".  It's the last font in the list.

Main font page:

ISWA 2010 Hand Photo:

I also updated the ISWA 2010 HTML Reference so that it now includes photos for all hand shapes. (42 MB)

Very exciting,

Regards, Trevor.
