Hello Valerie, Charles, Stefan and everyone, I know that when the hand is open and closes one finger at a time starting from the pinky finger, I know you can write in two ways: - Symbol "Opening the knuckles from the hand, one finger at a time" (an arrowhead inside the other) or - 'Finger trills' (as exemplified Valerie and Charles). The question is when the hand is closed (closed fist "S") and begins to open one finger at a time starting with the pinky finger. I thought of writing using the "Opening the knuckles from the hand, one finger at a time" (an arrowhead inside the other) near the pinky finger. See the following two examples: 1 - Madrugada (dawn) > 2 - Explicar (explain) > >________________________________ > De: Valerie Sutton <[log in to unmask]> >Para: SignWriting List: Read and Write Sign Languages <[log in to unmask]> >Cc: Madson Barreto <[log in to unmask]> >Enviadas: Quinta-feira, 1 de Março de 2012 18:23 >Assunto: Re: Opening the knuckles from the hand, one finger at a time > > >SignWriting List >March 1, 2012 > > >Hello Madson, Charles, Stefan and everyone - > > >Big smile ;-) > > >There are two ways to write Finger Trills - both are fine. I personally prefer this one, which shows the progression of one finger closing or opening and then the next and the next and the next - one dot at a time - you start reading at the end of the arrow and move towards the arrowhead direction - These are very detailed symbols: > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >On Mar 1, 2012, at 11:08 AM, Madson Barreto wrote: > >Hello Valerie and everyone >> >> >>Studying on "Opening the knuckles from the hand, one finger at a time", found the following: >> >> >>"The fingers are extended, opening the hand one finger at a time, starting with the index and ending with the little finger.
