Thanks for the links, Jonathan. However, Ethnologue uses a specialized triliteral code that doesn't reflect common usage (e.g. ase for ASL), while Wikipedia lists and links to a lot of sign languages but doesn't have any information on Egyptian Sign. (I'm hoping to help set up a page for Egyptian Sign soon.) I'll keep searching, but until I hear of anything different, I think I'll use EgSL as a stand-in, to keep it from being confused with English as a Second Language. Thanks again! -Ryan On Thu, Apr 19, 2012 at 3:49 PM, Jonathan <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > Hi Ryan, > Welcome to the list. > Here are two lists of world sign languages. > > http://www.ethnologue.com/show_family.asp?subid=23-16 > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sign_languages > > Regards, > Jonathan > > > On 4/19/2012 5:30 AM, Ryan Fan wrote: > > One thing I forgot to ask: Does anyone know if there's an accepted > abbreviation for Egyptian Sign Language?
