Thank you once again for your help,Hi Erika! Thank you for reminding about the screen shot! I completely forgot about that function on my laptop - I don't have a MAC..but I think I can work something out with the screen shot.I have already asked Valerie for permission to use images from the SignWriting website in my dissertation - i hope it's still okay with you Valerie, I will be citing where I took them from and that permission was granted. Since this is a joint work then I think I do need Adam's permission also...

Assuming it's OK with Val and Adam for the images to be recontextualized, though I'm sure you will be citing them appropriately. If you don't have a mac I can create the image files for you if you send me the pdf and tell me what you need.Erika
(sorry for the 3 separate messages! I keep hitting send and then thinking that I should add something!)

You bring the image you want, in the size you want, onto your desktop. Then hit command/shift/4. Then you adjust the box to encapsulate just what you want in the image. This will then become an image file you can embed in a Word document.E

I am trying to use the still photos for BaseSymbol handshapes groups 1-10 - but the still photos are not coming up on the website..is it my laptop that doesn't read them, or are they not there yet? i see the animated photos but not the still ones.
