SignWriting ListAugust 21, 2014
In Memory of Professor Patrice Dalle, who left us yesterday.
Patrice Dalle
Juliette, we are thinking of you and your family…
Remembering Professor Patrice Dalle, on Facebook:
Professor Dalle played an important role in introducing SignWriting in France. In the year 2000, Professor Dalle wrote us a letter, which is posted on this web page:
Because of Professor Dalle’s letter, the Iris School for the Deaf in Toulouse taught SignWriting, and one of the students from the school, was his own daughter Juliette.
Later, Professor Dalle was the advisor to dissertations about SignWriting, such as:
Guylhem Aznar’s dissertation
and Professor Dalle worked with Marianne Stumpf, regarding SignWriting in France and Brazil:
Once again, Juliette, we are thinking of you and your family. Your father will always be remembered…
and thank you...
Val ;-)
