Here is information on software by Maryline Pierrat and her team, called Wiki Signaire International (WISI), using the SMYLE system:

Le Wiki-Signaire International (WISI) est une encyclopédie en Langue des Signes qui permet d’enrichir son signaire (vocabulaire en signes) sans besoin de mots.

Hello Maryline!
Great to read your message here on the SignWriting List. Congratulations to you as well, for all you have accomplished.

And yes, the SignWriting List members are a great group and I know I feel less lonely when we can chat about writing signs too -

Every year there are new software projects using SignWriting. The SignWriting Keyboard project by Yair Rand will be presented at the SignWriting Symposium 2015 this July. It works well with the new Wikipedias in written sign languages and also holds potential for use in searching for written signs in web browsers.

I will write a second message now about your software accomplishments, Maryline. I am sure the SignWriting List will be interested in your work with programming Avatars…using your writing system, called SMYLE:

So look for the next message - Val ;-)
