I'm glad you like the SignWriting Thin viewer. It requires a SignWriting Icon Server to provide the server side SVG images. The server on Wikimedia Labs is probably the best server to use. http://swis.wmflabs.org This is last years technology. The new technology uses TrueType fonts and does not require server side SVG images. This eliminates any visual delay and greatly reduces network communication. For example, a large page of the ASL Wikipedia will require over 1 MB of images. It will require only 30 KB of Formal SignWriting if the fonts are installed for the same page. There are 2 fonts, available in the SignWriting 2010 Fonts project. https://github.com/Slevinski/signwriting_2010_fonts For Javascript programming, the SignWriting 2010 JavaScript library can easily transform FSW into either SVG or PNG. https://github.com/Slevinski/sw10js The minified file is less than 20 KB and includes a lot of additional functionality. http://slevinski.github.io/sw10js/api.html > There will be some issues along the way, for sure, but it can be done! > > Friendly, Eduardo. Thanks for the inventive work. I'm always surprised and excited by what you accomplish.
