In Brazil, there are several ongoing projects with SignWriting, and one took place October 30th... A presentation by Leoni Ramos, which was highlighted on Facebook...Leoni received his Master's Degree researching writing LIBRAS (Brazlian Sign Language) along side Portuguese, for learning Portuguese as a second language for Deaf students... Here is a photo of Leoni's presentation Oct 30th...If I understand it correctly, Leoni is planning to continue this project in northern Brazil...I hope we will learn more later...
