SignWriting List February 10, 2016 Hello Charles! Thank you for this message. This sounds like an interesting project. Certainly there are those who, while in a sign language classroom, learn to sign and also learn to read and write the signs they are learning in SignWriting... But I do not know of any projects or documentation of individuals who have learned to sign just from a written SignWriting text - usually they have some contact with those who sign the language too... Have I mis-understood what you are looking for? Are you looking for people who use Signwritten texts to teach themselves to sign? Please explain more... I have to start with a listing of projects that have testable results for assessing language acquisition through the tool of SignWriting. Any of you, many of whom I have worked before, able to send me links to your work? > > Charles Butler [log in to unmask] 240-764-5748 Clear writing moves business forward. > ________________________________________________ > > SIGNWRITING LIST INFORMATION > > Valerie Sutton SignWriting List moderator [log in to unmask] > > Post Messages to the SignWriting List: [log in to unmask] > > SignWriting List Archives & Home Page http://www.signwriting.org/forums/swlist > > Join, Leave or Change How You Receive SW List Messages http://listserv.valenciacollege.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=SW-L&A=1 > ________________________________________________ SIGNWRITING LIST INFORMATION Valerie Sutton SignWriting List moderator [log in to unmask] Post Messages to the SignWriting List: [log in to unmask] SignWriting List Archives & Home Page http://www.signwriting.org/forums/swlist Join, Leave or Change How You Receive SW List Messages http://listserv.valenciacollege.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=SW-L&A=1
