SignWriting ListMay 3, 2019
Thank you, Ebson Gomes, for announcing this new SignWriting course. The course is taking place at UFERSA, Universidade Federal Rural do Semi-Arido, in MossorĂ³, State of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil.
Message from Ebson:
It will be a basic course to encourage people to learn to write in Libras (Brazilian Sign Language). It is very valid that teachers of sign languages can learn the written form of that language, and allow access also by this modality. I think it's going to be a very special time to discuss a little bit about teacher education and the literacy and multilearning processes of deaf students with SignWriting.

Google Translation to English:
The purpose of this course is to promote the teaching and use of SignWriting for both the deaf community and students of the Libras course as a way for everyone to learn the written modality of Libras using the SignWriting system. It is worth noting that the system understands this modality while allowing them to learn other lexicons with the rules learned from writing the language, which are valid for all sign languages but with their linguistic peculiarities.LEARNING TO WRITE IN LIBRAS: FROM SIGNING TO WRITING OF SIGNS with the SIGNWRITING SYSTEM
