Hello Valery,

I'm happy to write to you again,

In Colombia Sign Language, there are two ways to say "vecino" (neighbour) and "vecindad" (neighbourhood). The first set of signs refers to the house next to or near your home. The second set is the plural, the several houses next to your home. Other signs that could mean neighbour refer only to the people, that is, the person who lives next to or near your home or the several persons who live near your home.

Hello SignWriting List -

I have a question, for all sign languages ….

How do you write the signs for NEIGHBOR and NEIGHBORHOOD in your sign language?

I hope signers from all over the world will respond…all sign languages are welcome!

In ASL, I have tried to write these signs…see attached… are these the way you sign it and write it in ASL?
