Hmm… I think it is a matter of what feels the closest to the writer. :-)

I guess you could write with the air going out if the details are desired. However, I personally don’t think you could do with out the vibrating lips as was written here:
To me, this could be done by having the lips slightly closed, but still enough for air to pass without the lips vibrating.

I personally would write without just because I don’t think that much information is necessary, but I haven’t really written this movement often enough to see what the average reader sees. Maybe it should be done with both so that it is easiest for the reader.
