SignWriting List
January 15, 2011
THANK YOU, Stefan, for this excellent example of your SignMail in German Sign Language -
It is amazing to realize that SignMail has become an important part of your educational tools for your Deaf students at the Osnabruck School for the Deaf... a great way for you and your Deaf students to learn language and to learn SignWriting and so many things - and it is very cool that you use the Seach by Symbol feature in SignPuddle to help your students figure out what you said in the SignMail!
I love the Search by Symbol feature that Steve developed too... and I think it is very inventive of you, Stefan, to choose to use the SignMail combined with the Search by Symbol features together in this educational method - Your students learn a lot from "searching for the symbols in a sign" to find the meaning behind the signs - a little like being a detective ;-)
Congratulations on what you are accomplishing everyday in Deaf Education ...Val ;-)

That would be too easy - smile. Everybody in the world has git the chance to understand what is written here. You even do not have to know German Sign Language. You can look for every sign in the German SignPuddle Dictionary - following the search by symbols routine. I just would like to give an example the way we use it for signmail.
