Hello Tini and Henk!
Thank you for this message, and for your previous message to me, about using Sutton DanceWriting with your dance students…That is amazing after all these years… Thank you for telling me that DanceWriting is useful for your students…
For those new to the SignWriting List, SignWriting is a section of a larger notation system called Sutton Movement Writing, and years ago, back in the early 1970s, I started by writing dance movement. That section of the writing system is called DanceWriting:
and I met Tini back in the early 1970s in Copenhagen, Denmark - a long time ago...
Since that time, Tini also started using SignWriting with her sign language students in Canada:
SignWriting in Canada
and now Tini is back to teaching DanceWriting again -
Thanks for your messages, Tini, and congratulations on teaching again -
Thank you Stefan
I like your drawing and so nIce to see you still using "Learning Is Fun Eh."..... (LIFE)
I wrote Valerie some days ago that I have started a ballet class for seniors and using the Sutton Dance writing. It was fun to be able to write the movement again after some years without it.
Have a wonderful week-end. It is a long one for us, being Victoria week-end.
Huggs from both of us.
Henk and Tini.

working through old files I found this animated gif...
Hope you like it. The guy is so motivated ... he will never stop to practice! I know what kind of feelings are going along with this... smile. long time ago I spent much time on creating teaching material for my SignWriting- lessons. Today we simply start to read... some time later to use the dictionary in order to create documents.
