I am glad you like Stefan's writing, Nancy - I do too ;-))
There are two programs now that can place SignWriting horizontally on the page - the Delegs program from Germany does it automatically. That is the program that Stefan used.
For those here on the List who may not realize it, there is also a feature in SignPuddle too, that makes it possible to take a vertically-written document, and place it horizontally on the page… After you create the document in the normal vertical mode and save it, click on the ColumnMaker button, and choose Horizontal, under the Orientation button, and then press the Recreate button. Here is a screen capture of how to do that - The vertical document then appears horizontal below and you can copy and paste it, or drag and drop it, into another program … like Microsoft Word etc...
(I meant to do that --)
Really tho, this looks great! And gives me some ideas for later if/when I translate the Book of Revelation.
It was a joy to read this. Does it read faster left to right, or top to bottom as usual? Either way, you wrote it clearly!

Hello Stefan, Erika, and everyone -
I think this is amazing. Ideas never die, they are just re-born in new ways every decade it seems!
It seemed that Receptive writing was gone for SignWriting, and now it is breathing new life, and in new ways - and each new idea adds beauty to the writing system…
This is an exciting document, Stefan - Showing two people contacting each other together in one sign - this is not the way we wrote multiple people dancing on a stage under a music score, but it works beautifully anyway!
I would suggest a line separating each sign…I can show you how we do it in DanceWriting later if you wish -
Because this is the SignWriting List, I did not want to just talk about DanceWriting but to find other SignWriting documents that write multiple people signing to each other - we do have such documents that were handled differently, but I think this is really cool, Stefan!
Thank you for sharing with us - Val ;-)
