DISSERTATIONS AND THESES About or Using SignWriting
Dear SW List -
There are dissertations and theses written about or using SignWriting that have not gotten the proper attention on the SignWriting Web Site, so everyday in the month of October, starting today, I am going to try to post information about one of them. I believe the entire month will have a post everyday, because I believe there are around 30 that have not been listed yet on the SignWriting site - I may not know about all of the scholars who have studied or used SignWriting in their documents, so write here on the SignWriting List if you would like to tell us about your research.
It is a big gift, that so many people have dedicated years of their lives to researching and developing software and other projects to benefit the SignWriting community… Thank you to everyone…

The "SignWriting CaptionMaker" software is a Moodle 1.9 activity plugin. It needs to be installed in a Moodle 1.9 environment.
Allows adding SignWriting subtitles to on-line videos, as well as other types of subtitles, as demonstrated in these YouTube videos:
