SignWriting List November 7, 2013 Thank you, Nancy, for offering to help with shipping the book to Brazil! How kind of you… Since I have a pile of mail to take to the post office later today anyway, I can do it this time, but I admit that in the future we need to find ways to fulfill orders in a more efficient manner - There are companies that have shopping carts and fulfill orders for organizations like ours…but I just have to find the right one… Does anyone have a suggestion for Shopping Cart software that does not cost too much? Our organization is a non-profit as you know, so we cannot pay large monthly fees - My home server was running a shopping cart designed in FileMaker Pro, but that requires that FileMaker Pro is installed on the server… and I am not sure that is so good for our SignWriting web site…I will just use PayPal buttons for now... By the way, Nancy, I love your new articles that will be posted in the new ASL Wikipedia … including articles on Martha’s Vineyard Sign Language, Thanksgiving, Thomas Gallaudet, Sophia Gallaudet, Edward Gallaudet, Gallaudet University, Linda Bove…and so forth …There will be 50 articles soon…wonderful!
