This is fantastic news. I am glad you told us about your SignWriting presentation yesterday online in Brazil. Congratulations, Adam!
October 19th, 2021 was a busy day for SignWriting presentations in Brazil...
Steve’s presentation was about software development, and your presentation was about education: using SignWriting in the classroom. Very different audiences. Great to see how much intense interest there is in Brazil for writing LIBRAS and other sign languages.
And yes, I remember the group “Ciclo Acadêmico em Libras” or "Academic Circles in Libras”. You and I did present together online in Brazil. I can’t remember the date? Maybe in 2020? I am so glad they are continuing…
I remember you presented a really cool video that was a great way to learn SignWriting...

It so happens that I also presented in Brazil yesterday as well. I presented for “Ciclo Acadêmico em Libras” or "Academic Circles in Libras” about teaching SignWriting within sign language classrooms.
While this was completely online, it was hosted by a professor from Brasilla at the Universidade Federal de Campina Grande. If I remember correctly, this is with the same group that Valerie and I presented either earlier this year or last year.
