BaseSymbol 259 is similar to an “S” handshape (or a fist) except the knuckles are all raise. So I guess I could see why it would look close to an “E” in ASL.________________________________________________The main difference is the thumb. In BaseSymbol 75, the fingers are on top of the crossed over thumb. In BaseSymbol 259, the thumb crosses over the fingers.
