So that symbol was constructed from other Punctuation Symbols, to represent "a bullet” in a bullet list? So the dot represents “the bullet”. And of course we had to put it between two thick lines because this is Punctuation. Without the thick lines on each side of the dot for the bullet, the dot alone would look like a Finger Movement or other symbols…so the thick line with the dot in the center makes it clear it is Punctuation, for Bullet Lists.

Hello SignWriting List! And especially Adam Frost, who is the co-author of this Wikipedia article that I am posting as a diagram in this email message. It is about Charles de l’Epee.

Some of the Wikipedia articles are very old and years ago, in 2004 through 2008, we were writing with the International MovementWriting Alphabet, the IMWA. Then in 2008 and 2010, we developed the ISWA and that is what we write with today in SignPuddle and SignMaker.

I have a question for you Adam. Please look at the attached diagram from the end of the article. It is one of the last pages of an article from the ASL Wikipedia and as you can see I put it into Photoshop and pointed some red arrows towards punctuation symbols that we only seem to use in Wikipedia. They have a dot in the center and I think those represented section divisions? I believe the text below is providing added information about the article for Wikipedia readers? Is that what that symbol means? Please see attached.
